Paul Molitor is currently 58 years old born on August 22,1956. Paul has Two sons Joshua and Benjamin Molitor, he has seven siblings and a mom named Kathie and a dad named Dick, he has an ex-wife named Linda Kaplan and a current wife named Destini Molitor.
Paul grew up in St.Paul Minnesota the city he would later play two of his 21 years of baseball. When Molitor was just beggining his baseball career he played for the Golden Gophers of the University Of Minnesota, he played for three years at U OF M then he was drafted with an MLB team in the third round of the draft, the team that drafted him was the Milwaukee Brewers in 1978. Paul Molitor played for the brewers for 14 years then was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in 1993 he played there for two years (1993-1995) the same year Molitor was traded to the Blue Jays they won the 1993 world series and Paul Molitor was the MVP.
After another year with the Blue Jays Paul Molitor was traded to the Minnesota Twins where he would play two of his last years in the MLB. On September 27, 1998 Molitor retired from the MLB saying, "My heart tells me I've done what I can do on the field and in this game."
After Molitor's baseball career he decide he waned to manage an MLB team. He started out as a batting coach for the Seattle Mariners, as time went on he wanted more than just a batting coach, one day the Minnesota Twins fired their current manager because of their horrible record and needed a new manager, the Twins gave Paul Molitor a call an asks if he wanted to manage the Twins he accepted and is currently managing a new and improved Twins team going 21-16 and third place in their league many people think the Twins will make the playoffs this year. Overall Molitor was a fantastic player and now is an even better manager.
